Galya Makeup Artistry have been in business for 10 years and we are featured on The Knot and Wedding Wire and published in Charleston Living Magazine. We are also Google 5 Star Rated and a vendor at "The Big Fake Wedding Charleston 2021" and a winner of 2022 AND 2023 “The Knot Best of Weddings”
All of our pro team artists are handpicked. Not only do I personally have 10 years of experience, but all of my assisting artists have been hand-selected and trained personally by me.
Every single one of my team members go through an extensive 3-part interview process in which they are required to do hair and makeup on me personally so I can get to know them and see how they will work with a potential client.
In addition, each artist goes through 1:1 training with Galya to make sure they have the same level of skills and professionalism as her. This training ensures their abilities to match my expected style of makeup as well as execute previous looks I have done.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I am Galya and I am the founder of Galya Makeup Artistry, LLC. I am originally from Bulgaria and I moved to the USA when I was 19 because I got accepted to college. I graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2014 with a degree in Finance. Shortly after entering Corporate America, I realized this world is not for me and I want to follow my passion to pursue a career in the makeup industry!
From a Corporate “Run Away” to CEO of Galya Makeup Artistry I am proud to say I indeed made my dreams come true and now I am a professional and award-winning Charleston Makeup Artist with a team of beauty pros who specialize in Bridal Hair and Makeup!
